【Job Description】

We ask you to clean rooms at vacation rental and accommodation facilities operated and managed by our company, listed on Airbnb and other platforms.

Your job is to clean and prepare rooms after guests check out, and get them ready to welcome the next guests.

You will have the opportunity to gain experience through cleaning work and expand your range of responsibilities.

【Application Requirements】

Only those who have passed both of the following tests may apply.

• Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N4 or above

• Accommodation Sector Specified Skilled Worker Evaluation Test (Prometric)

【Work Location and Rotation Areas】

You will rotate through facilities operated and managed by our company in Shinjuku, Shibuya, Taito, and Adachi wards in Tokyo.

Your work location is not fixed and will change depending on the cleaning schedule for that day.

You may move between multiple facilities during a single day's work to perform cleaning.

【Main Tasks】

• Bed Making: Change sheets and pillowcases, and neatly arrange the bed.

• Room Cleaning: Vacuum and wipe down floors, tables, furniture, and other surfaces.

• Bathroom, Toilet, Sink, and Kitchen Cleaning: Remove dirt and ensure everything is clean and ready to use.

• Towel and Supplies Preparation and Restocking: Collect used towels and prepare new ones. Restock toilet paper, shampoo, and other supplies.

• Garbage Sorting and Collection: Sort and collect garbage from the room, and replace garbage bags.

• Post-Cleaning Confirmation and Reporting: Check for any missed cleaning or insufficient supplies. If you find lost items or broken items, report them to the staff in charge.

You will carefully prepare each room so that the next guests can enjoy their stay comfortably.

【Career Development and Advancement After Joining】

For the first 6 months to 1 year after joining, you will be responsible for cleaning work and learn the characteristics of the facilities and the basics of the job.

In addition to cleaning quality, we evaluate your daily efforts and aptitude in the following areas:

• Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and help one another

• Ability to properly report, communicate, and consult with managers

• Ability to report observations from a guest's perspective and propose and implement improvements

• Ability to understand work progress and engage in facility and team management tasks

Depending on your work performance, abilities, and aptitude over 6 months to 1 year, you may be involved in hotel operations department tasks.

You will have opportunities to take on various roles, such as supporting hotel operations and posting on social media.

【Required Qualifications】

The following two conditions must both be met.

• Passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N4 or higher

• Passed the Accommodation Sector Specified Skilled Worker Evaluation Test (Prometric)

• Have not passed both tests above but are planning to take them

※Only those who have passed both tests can start working immediately, but consultation is possible even if you are planning to take the tests.

【Desired Skills】

• Ability to follow prescribed cleaning procedures and work carefully

• Ability to meet work hours and cleaning completion times

• Ability to notice minor dirt and shortages of supplies and confirm them

• Ability to promptly report and consult when there are questions or problems

• Ability to check work communications on a smartphone and report on tasks

• Ability to understand work instructions in simple Japanese and report/consult

• Ability to work while moving between assigned facilities in Shinjuku, Shibuya, Taito, and Adachi wards

【Welcome Experience】

• Room cleaning experience at hotels, inns, or private accommodations

• Experience with sheet changing and bed making

• Experience with cleaning work such as house cleaning
