▼ About the required level of Japanese

If the kitchen (cooking aid) is the main focus, it's fine if you understand simple Japanese (approximate: N4).

If you also want a hall (customer service and cash register), it is safe to be able to have everyday conversations since orders are heard and paid (approximate: about N3).

Both are centered around fixed phrases, so once you get used to them, you can memorize them while working.
