My job is to deliver mattresses and beds that I use every day.

〇Delivery and installation work

・Load the finished bed into a large car (one-box car or truck).

・It can be safely driven and delivered to customers such as furniture stores and trading companies.

On days when the number of deliveries is low, mattress manufacturing operations are also carried out.

○Manufacturing work at the factory

・Cut the cloth to be used as a cover into a fixed size.

・Place a soft material such as urethane on a metal spring (spring).

・Use a tool like a large stapler called a “hockringer” to fix the material.

・Use an electric sewing machine to sew the cloth together neatly.

Pack the finished product in a plastic or paper bag so that it does not stain.

※There is also work to carry heavy luggage, but everyone cooperates to do it.

※At first, read a piece of paper called an “instruction manual” with work rules written on it and memorize the order.
