Job Description
At Fuji Soba located right in front of the ticket gate of Nishi-Koyama Station on the Tokyu Meguro Line, we prepare and serve soba noodles, katsudon, and other dishes. Meals (staff meals) are provided on working days.
▼What kind of work is it?
Fuji Soba is a soba restaurant chain with over 100 locations. Customers purchase meal tickets from a ticket machine, so there are few situations where you need to take orders or handle payments. The work mainly involves cooking set-procedure dishes such as topping boiled soba with broth and toppings, and serving customers. We have a manual, so even those without cooking experience can learn while being taught by senior staff members.
▼Main duties
・Receive meal tickets and prepare and serve soba and rice bowls
・Wash dishes and clean the dining area and kitchen
▼About the restaurant
It is a small restaurant with 3 to 5 people including the manager. There is little heavy lifting, but you will be standing throughout your shift.
▼Salary
Hourly wage from 1,400 yen (1,750 yen if working between 10 PM and 5 AM the next day)
Required Skills / Experience
【Essential Requirements】
・Japanese language ability at approximately JLPT N3 level (to greet customers and learn cooking methods explained in Japanese by senior staff)
【Visa Status】

Since this job focuses on cooking and customer service, you cannot work on a "Technology, Humanities/International Services" visa.
【We Also Welcome】
・Those with no restaurant experience
・Those who have never cooked
・Age is not a concern
【Ideal Candidates】
・Those skilled at carefully repeating set procedures
・Those comfortable greeting customers with "Welcome" and "Thank you very much"
※This is a job where you stand throughout your shift. Since we use fire and hot water, the kitchen can become hot.
