Job Description

This is a job handling reception from evening onwards at a small inn in Kyoto called "Yururi-an". You can work after school. The dormitory is in the room next to the inn's reception desk, and rent is free.

▼What kind of work?

Reception for a 4-room inn located within the same building. Most guests are from overseas, primarily from Western countries, and you will handle check-ins from evening to night. There are about 1-2 check-ins per day, so during free time you answer guest questions via Airbnb messages, restock amenities, and handle lost items. Room cleaning is done by an external company.

▼Where English is used

Communication with guests is primarily in English. There is a simple English manual available, and you can use translation apps if needed. Internal reports are made via chat in Japanese.

▼Working hours

Late shift from 17:00 to 21:00 (until 20:00 on some days). We are recruiting people who can work 5 days a week.

▼About live-in work

Since the inn is open 24 hours, 365 days a year, we are recruiting people who can work on a live-in basis. Meals are not provided, but there are convenience stores and restaurants nearby.

▼Salary

Hourly wage: 1,200 yen and up (increases based on experience with Airbnb correspondence, etc.)

(Example) If working 4 hours per day, 5 days a week (21 days per month): 1,200 yen × 4 hours × 21 days = 100,800 yen

Dormitory fee: 0 yen / Transportation allowance: None (due to live-in arrangement)

【Essential Requirements】

・Japanese Language Proficiency Test N3 level or equivalent (ability to read and write Japanese in company chat communications)

・Ability to work on a live-in basis
