[12 minutes walk from Gyoda Station] Cooking Part-time Staff for Short-term Stay | ¥1,200/hour, 3+ days per week

Part-time cooking position in the kitchen of a small 30-bed short-stay facility. Work 3–5 days per week on 8-hour shifts.

▼What kind of work?

You'll prepare meals for elderly residents in a care facility kitchen. Unlike restaurants, there's no customer service, and there are no rush hours with concentrated orders. You'll follow set menus and work through the same routine every day.

▼What's unique about care facilities

・You'll also prepare "minced food" cut into easy-to-chew pieces and "blended food" processed through a mixer

・For allergies and ingredients residents cannot eat, you'll confirm them by name before serving

▼Main duties

・Prep work: washing and cutting vegetables

・Cooking, plating, and serving

・Washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen

9:00 Arrival / Prep for lunch

10:30 Lunch preparation

11:45 Plating and serving

13:00 Dishwashing and break

15:00 Prep and cooking for dinner

17:00 Plating, serving, and cleanup

▼About this facility

A small 30-bed short-stay facility. We prepare three meals daily: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 12 minutes' walk from Gyoda Station. Commuting by car is also possible (free parking available).

【Essential Requirements】

・Qualifications: None required (qualifications are not an issue). Those with experience in cooking work

・Japanese: Japanese Language Proficiency Test N3 level or equivalent. Ability to read hiragana and katakana (to confirm food allergens and items that must not be eaten by name)

【Regarding Residence Status】

Permanent residents, long-term residents, spouses of Japanese nationals, spouses of permanent residents, and similar categories may apply. Since this job is primarily cooking-focused, you cannot work under residence statuses such as "Technology/Humanities/International Services" or "Nursing Care."

【Preferred Candidates】

・Those with a cooking license

・Those with experience preparing meals for many people in schools, hospitals, care facilities, or similar settings

・Those skilled at following set procedures and working with precision

※This is a standing position. Since fire is used, the kitchen becomes very hot in summer.
