[Leverage Your Culinary License] Cooking Part-Time Position at Short-Stay Facility | Kuki City · 3+ Days Per Week

A part-time position in the kitchen of a short-stay facility where you can utilize your cooking license and culinary experience. Shifts are scheduled 3-5 days per week between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM.

▼What kind of work?

You will prepare meals for elderly residents in the kitchen of a care facility. Unlike restaurants, there is no customer service, and there are no busy rush hours with concentrated orders. You prepare meals following a set menu in the same routine every day.

▼Unique to care facilities

・You will also prepare "chopped meals" cut into easy-to-eat pieces and "blended meals" processed in a mixer

・You will confirm allergies and ingredients that must not be eaten along with residents' names before serving

▼Main duties

・Preparation work such as washing and cutting vegetables

・Cooking, plating, and serving

・Washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen

▼Sample daily schedule (9:00–18:00 example)

9:00 Arrival・Lunch preparation

10:30 Lunch cooking

11:45 Plating and serving

13:00 Dishwashing and break

15:00 Dinner preparation and cooking

17:00 Plating, serving, and cleanup

▼About this facility

A facility with day service and short-stay care in the same building. 10 minutes by bus from Kuki Station, get off at "Kurihara." Commuting by car is also available (free parking). Meal counts are 50-60 for lunch and 17-20 for breakfast and dinner.

【Essential Requirements】

・Qualifications: Culinary chef license. Experience working in cooking

・Japanese: Japanese Language Proficiency Test N3 level or higher. Ability to read hiragana and katakana (to confirm food allergens and items that must not be eaten by name)

【Regarding Residence Status】

Permanent residents, long-term residents, spouses of Japanese nationals, spouses of permanent residents, and similar categories may apply. Since this job is primarily cooking-focused, you cannot work under residence statuses such as "Technology/Humanities/International Services" or "Nursing Care."

【Preferred Candidates】

・Those with experience preparing meals for many people in schools, hospitals, care facilities, and similar settings

・Those skilled at following set procedures and working with precision

※This is a standing job. Since we use fire, the kitchen becomes very hot in summer.
