▼What kind of work?

Operating machines that make "screws."

Our company manufactures screws using a method called "thread rolling (tenzoу)." We sandwich a metal rod between rollers and apply strong pressure to create the grooves (mizо) of the screw. This method produces stronger screws than cutting, so they are used in places where failure would be problematic—cars, machinery, buildings, and more.

▼Daily workflow

① Check the blueprint (zumen) to confirm the size of screws to be made that day

② Set the die (kanagata) in the machine and adjust the speed and pressing force

③ Operate the machine and remove the finished screws

④ Measure the diameter and length with calipers (nогis, a measuring tool) and verify they match the blueprint

⑤ If there are no issues, place them in a box and move to the next order

Since screw sizes change with each order, you adjust the machine each time. This is the most difficult and most interesting part. If you have experience operating machinery, you'll be fine even if screws are new to you.

【Absolutely Required Conditions】

・Experience operating machinery in a factory (does not have to be screw machinery; any experience with "operating machinery" is acceptable)

・Possession of an ordinary automobile driver's license (Class 1)

・Japanese language ability at approximately JLPT N3 level (able to read numbers on drawings and understand instructions from senior staff)
