【Shibuya】Kitchen Staff at a Yakitori Restaurant Learning from Skewering Rare Local Chicken/2461-3-k

A high-end yakitori restaurant in Shibuya's Dogenzaka area that operates exclusively by reservation with a course menu. We use rare local chicken called "Takasaka-dori" and serve dishes that showcase yakitori and Japanese cuisine techniques. The restaurant centers around a counter where dishes are prepared in front of customers.

▼Specific Job Duties

・Prep work (cutting ingredients and preparing materials before cooking). This is an important task that determines the deliciousness of the dishes

・Skewering (threading chicken onto skewers). We skewer carefully so the yakitori finishes beautifully when grilled

・Assisting at the grill station (you'll learn grilling techniques by watching the cooking process up close)

・Grilling yakitori (we deliver the deliciousness of rare local chicken to customers in its best condition)

・Supporting the head chef (tasks include managing ingredients and developing new menu items)

▼Training Process After Joining

You'll start with basic tasks like prep work and skewering. Through assisting at the grill station, you'll gradually master yakitori techniques. We also provide training tailored to your skills and experience level.

▼Regarding Salary

Includes 30 hours of fixed overtime pay (46,084 yen or more), with additional payment for hours exceeding this. During the 2-month trial period, the hourly wage is 1,500 yen.

【Required】

・Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N2 or above (for those whose native language is not Japanese)

・Residence status must be one of the following: Permanent Resident / Long-term Resident / Spouse of Japanese National / Spouse of Permanent Resident / Specified Skilled Worker Type 1 (Food Service Industry)
