[Marunouchi] Kitchen Staff to Prepare Dishes that Pair with Beer / 2318-3-k

At a beer dining establishment under the Suntory Group, we serve beers including a dream beer that a brewer spent ten years developing. The kitchen's job is to create dishes that pair well with these beers.

▼Specific duties

・Prep work (preparing ingredients before cooking, such as cutting and blanching)

・Handle fried and boiled dishes (fundamental cooking that supports the restaurant's signature taste)

・Assist with cooking and plating (presentation is part of deliciousness)

・Prepare main dishes (assigned progressively to those who have mastered the basics)

・Source ingredients (procure necessary materials and prepare for service)

▼Career progression after joining

You'll start with basic prep work and fundamental techniques like frying and boiling. Once you master the basics, you'll move on to assisting with cooking and plating, then progress to preparing main dishes. You'll also have opportunities to work on new menu development.

▼Compensation

Includes 30 hours of fixed overtime pay (46,084 yen or more); any additional hours are paid separately. During the 2-month trial period, the hourly rate is 1,500 yen.

【Required】

・Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N2 or above (for those whose native language is not Japanese)

・Residence status must be one of the following: Permanent Resident / Long-term Resident / Spouse of Japanese National / Spouse of Permanent Resident / Specified Skilled Worker Type 1 (Food Service Industry)
